Good luck with it. If you can match the quality of the DEM with accurate gradients etc you are on a winner :P :)
Lol at the first part there.

I'm getting the ISBN of a book on the gradients for the line very soon, so we'll see how that comes along. I'm hoping to get some accurate speed limit information soon too.

Project H2P status: Currently awaiting software to fix PC problems. Got a start on .mkr file, hoping to continue that soon. Wprk should re-commence very soon.

Hereford is pretty complicated, although it is nothing compared to some routes I've seen recently. I shall be using one or the other of those, but I'm not sure exactly which one is better, and will decide on that once the marker file is completed.

buffy500, yes it is a brave thing to say. It is sort of a 'mission statement' for the route. I know many experienced route builders would not say such a thing, but I'm not your standard route builder. I have built a route before, but never released it due to a temporary lack of interest in MSTS at the time.

No, some people have released multiple routes.

Indeed they have, and I congratulate them on doing so.

Anyway, let us get back to the topic. I'll have a screenshot of further progress by Friday hopefully.

I'm getting the ISBN of a book on the gradients for the line very soon, so we'll see how that comes along. The layout at Hereford will be nothing less than 100% prototypical, and I expect the entire route will try to follow suit.
Just realised I have put Freat Great Western instead of First  :-?

Should be a good route then if you can get hold of the gradients. However, I would retract that statement about it being 100% prototypical as that is almost impossible to achieve in MSTS. :)

Hmm, I did consider doing that actually. I suppose to make it 100% prototypical, you'd have to have a decent signalling system for one thing.

OK, I'll retract my statement. If others that responded to it could remove their comments on it, that would be most helpful.
