Desktops 2003

Post by LucaZone »

Did a search and found other Desktop threads had died, so created a new one.

What are peoples desktops these days? Who creates their own and who pics images they find?

Thought my current one at work was nice so here it is to start things off. Working with Buffy on lots of reskins ive created him a nice logo for his work, and have utilised it in this wallpaper creation.

That is nice. I have a IC125 in Inter-City blue erupting from a tunnel (think it's on the western region). It was a poster that I'd bought from the NRM, York.
Having said that, it's currently Tina Arena in the buff :o .

I think I actually saved it from a newsgroup - chances of finding it again are slim.

The info at the bottom of the pic (hidden under my win xp toolbar) reveals the photographer to be John Turner, His website is
http://web.ukonline.co.uk/53amodels//main.htm and the pic is of 60005 at New Barnetby 22/12/03. I doubt he's got round to adding it to his website though.

The newsgroup was alt.binaries.pictures.rail where a fair number of UK pics are uploaded daily (As well as plenty of overseason ones) - The UK ones are prefixed UK in the headers though.

The newsgroup also keep an archive online which is updated every month.

It doesn't actually look bad, but it should have a big question mark and 'Black Eyed Peas' written on it :P
