Apologies to anyone who doesn't (yet!) have LBE!!

Oh dear...Oh dear.
Any chance...of a rethink as LBE is not that popular route...and is expensive for what it is.
Still if not it looks like Merseyside Railways is going to hit Euston Hurrah :D :D

Please reconsider.

I have no use for a southern route with glorified trams painted in ice cream van colours.

LBE is not that popular
in no way is this connected with the fact im working with EB, but im inclined to disagree with that statement.

Probably a bit too late, already placed at least 1000 signals from Euston to Nuneaton/Coventry and the 3rd rail track is used Euston to Watford which does add to the effect at the London end.........
3/4 aspect signals & 3rd rail track are actually the only shapes from LBE. I might be prepared to re-think on the signals if anyone can suggest 3/4 aspect colour light signals from elsewhere which are as good as the LBE ones.....but the track & track texture will not change.

Barry

PS, additional to this, if the signals were to change to non-LBE ones, 2 aspect would be nice as well (none in LBE)................suggestions welcome.

I quite enjoy driving on the LBE :)

Thanks,

Hi
Not being a route builder I may of got this wrong...but I know the swapping of track textures is quite possible (done it on at least 3 of the routes I use)....so no problems there.(Dont need to spend £15 for a track texture)
But can the same thing be done with signals ?....or is this something more complicated.
Obviously the complication I'm looking at is, if the route is written with 4 aspect signals and they were swapped with say 3 aspect....would this cause the route big problems.

Carry on with L2B objects, they are all very good :)

Don't know about the track as the 3rd rail track shapes are Europeanbahn (eg. eb2t250mstrt etc etc) so therefore these shapes would have to be copied via a batch file. The signals, if changed to freeware examples would have to be completely redone for the entire route as these are also EB objects........actually, thinking about is, the signals on MidEast are as good as the EB examples, but also, that is not freeware therefore the same problem could apply tho these (purely hypothetical as I have not thought or asked about using these, although only got MidEast a month ago, been doing WCML 3 months..............).

Dont forget track shapes live in the global folder, so nothing needs copying.

Stick with L2B track, It looks far superior to finescale 3rd raila dn the signals are the best on L2B. No offence to the author of finescale.

Personaly, with the right texture, Finescale looks tons better, and has more UK clearences than the L2B track sections :)
