Looking great Gordon. The Stone bridge looks superb.

The train in the last pic looks brilliant with all the mixed hieghts and loads of the wagons. A very distinctive sight long gone from our railways.

Hi Gordon, I Don't really know much about the geography of Wales, Is this a further extention or work on existing track? Keep up the good work :)

Can't take any credit for that one Robin, just borrowed the consist from Pat's Skipton. Does look very evocative doesn’t it.

All done by my own fair hand. No tools for terraforming where available when the Llangollen Bala bit was started and as the route is transplanted a few miles NE of it's true location to avoid whiteouts I never bothered using TSTools or Terraform to do the landscaping when they came along because of the difficulty in transposing co-ords. Saying that apart from the Llangollen-Corwen stretch the rest is reasonably accurate, lumps and troughs where they are supposed to be. If you venture around this bit of north Wales it should all look familiar.

Due to other commitments the guy who was doing the modelling for me had to pull out so I am now doing all the objects. I like all the lineside buildings to be correct if possible so the modelling is taking longer than the actual route building. Just putting together Ruthin town around the Well St area. I will post some screenshots in a couple of days once it's presentable. How long? See next reply.

Hello matey, which side of the border are you today :)
Due to all the modelling it looks as if it's going to be sometime in December now, probably late on as a Xmas present. Hydraulics ha!, you want to see what my mates running on it. He's put in continental gantries and is running those Swiss croc loco thingies on it. Not sure if it quite passes for the Alps though :D . The old Rasberry, Sheepsarse and Rottensmell is looking very promising. Looking forward to it.

That makes two of us. No, I know it like the back of my hand :) .

It's both. The track for the Corwen Rhyl branch has been laid since Ruabon Bala, it never had any scenery or landscaping though. Finally getting round to finishing it now though only as far as Ruthin. Denbigh will have to wait as it is just too large to do at the moment. The two intermediate stations between Ruthin and Denbigh will probably be included though.
How about upping some of those activities and how about doing one or two for the new CD?

Can you put in all the platforms for the activities. ?
Even if its just the markers and the ramps so we know where to stop.

Can't wait for this, will the route continue onto theN.Wales Coast to Rhyl?, there are plenty of expansion opportunities here!!!

No need to rush Gordon, as youv'e shown already your routes are a proper job.

OK Ian I'll put in all the markers and platforms down to Rhyl.

Due to starting another project in the New Year I will have to halt development just before Christmas anyway. David the line to Ruthin will be finished with all 5 stations plus the two before Denbigh and hopefully to an even better standard than before. Denbigh’s going to have to wait as it's just too big to complete before Christmas .
I'll post more screenshots over the weekend.

Superb as usual Gordon, and I agree with the comments about the bridge, that stonework really stands out.

Regards,
