Hi all

Thanks for the comments. :D

As far as is it an A1 or an A3 it is model from a set of Roche Plans as an A3. The scotman started live as an A1 but was later rebuilt as was most if not all A1s to the A3's. I think as the Scotsman Stands Today she is an A3.

But Im no expert on these matters and I could be wrong.

My records note that she was never classified as A1 but was introduced in 1922 as the original Gresley GNR A10 Pacific Design and rebuilt to an A3 in 1948.

I pair it with the Gresley Coaches on the Blue Arrow/Justtrains Severn Valley Railway Pack, they are far better than the default Gresley Coaches.

Also the tender is the same as it was used when in A1 condition, but if a new corridor tender was constructed, HINT, it would look like its present day condition. I reckon the loco is in A3 condition as it has a double Kylchap exhaust, wasn't that only fitted when it was an A3. The loco is a huge improvement on the Microsoft version.

erm Is that a small gap in the Finescale track John ??

also, I am not going to complain at all because I know my route is not perfect. :)

Just I see a very good Route here and even though Flying Scotsman is LNER not GWR, it suits very nicely :D

I saw the WOW --- Rebuild of The A3 Flying Scotsman and had it downloaded before I did anything else :D

Very nice Shots Mr Harvey.

The double Kylchap exhaust was only fitted during the latter years of preservation, and the headboard it carries in the sim now is the one it carried while in Australia, previous to the double Kylchap exhaust being fitted. Coupled with the GNR tender - it's certainly a pick and mix! Does look superb though! :D
