Actually they do, GNER use the 373's/Eurostars/White Rose's (to keep people happy I have used all titles :)) on London Kings Cross - Leeds trains, they used to run to York at one point (does anyone know if they still do?) they recently took a couple more 373's on hire for the trains.

Depends if you're talking about Eurostar UK PLC (and French/Belgian equivalents), or 'Eurostars', as in the nickname given for Class 373 trainsets.

Eurostar, as a company, do not run services to Leeds, although that could change, now the 373/3s have been route-cleared to Leeds (including a nice purpose-built platform, and the power upgrades), and when CTRL Phase 2 opens in 2007, there will be a link from the ECML to St Pancras International, allowing 373/3s to access CTRL, thereby making direct Leeds - Lille trips possible (what could be more appropriate?).

The Class 373 trains, nicknamed 'Eurostars', do run into Leeds, although not on EUK business. These are the 373/3s, on hire to GNER, and running under the branding of the 'White Rose' services (due to copywrite issues, and that 'White Rose' is an appropriate name for top-link ECML Leeds services).

I would like to extend the route but I think a northern extension might be good for MSTS2 I think, so long as we can convert, otherwise I'll be starting all over again :(

Funny, when yer man said Eurostars to Leeds, I understood what he meant, and that you couldn't catch a train from Paris to Leeds direct even if you wanted to. Now, will someone please get a bottle of conditioner for all the hairs we've split on here?

Tim, as for extending LookEast northwards, I'm happy to wait until MSTS2 arrives. Plus something further over to the west....

A northern expansion should as youv'e said be for MSTS 2. Its a great route but the branch lines could maybe do with a bit more expanding me thinks. I think its a great route and mainline route expansions should be keep for MSTS 2. But a MidEast UK Patch 1.4 with more branch lines and expansion to them for MSTS 1 would be good in the mean time :)
