Welshpool & Llanfair
Some screenshots from my W&L route. The area covered is from the former Smithfield Terminus at Welshpool to the Shropshire Union Canal Bridge (eg about 1/4 mile...... 9 3/4 miles to go!!!!!!!)

Exquisite details. I see picket fencing modelled in full 3D, isn't that a bit OTT?
Did you build LODs into these scenery objects? How are your frame rates?
But I have to hand it to you - looking stunning.

The frame rates are not perfect but I can live with it. I operate on the best laptop I could buy so it is a high performance machine.
My intention was to see how detailed it was possible to be, to push the system to the limits.
This is, on my machine, at about the limit of the payoff between performance and detail. The view from the cab is comparatively smooth, but it does suffer a little at external shots.
However, I would rather have that than a barren landscape, but that is my choice.

Yes, it is MSTS.
Yes, it is narrow gauge. The actual track gauge ia 1m to the rail centres (as far as I can tell) which makes the actual running-edge to running-edge gauge about 3 feet (ie 6 inches over the W&L gauge of 2'-6").
I intend to conplete the Town Section before I upload it, but don't hold your breath. As you can see, I have had to create mst of the buildings as there were no equivalents in the downloadable items available to date. This, as I'm sure you are all aware, takes a lot of time.
Also, a bit of weariness has crept in, so I am going to have an MSTS break for a week or two and do some other things.
Many thanks for your support and encouragement.
