That looks pretty neat.

It looks like the trackbed has been raised up too and the rails look so like like. Even the oil stains on the sleepers and balast.

Brilliant :D

The irregularity of the ballast texture edges really make these textures different, for the better.Shame there are not more around ,rather than the "ruler" straight edges that are the norm.

The sleeper textures and general colour remind me of the MLT ones included in KHP and Sandpatch.

Lovely job Marc.

Thanks guys...Here's a couple of shots of a turnout I'm tinkering with:

The point animation is based on US prototypes, without the silly one-leg swing as in the defaults. More modeling and texturing to do (the grime streak is probably too dark), but it's looking fairly good to me already. :)

Is this going to be another UKFS / X-Tracks type addon?

How much alteration/addition is planned?

The entries should be in the next XTracks build, but I don't David wants to distribute the files themselves, leaving it to me to do so. The models use their own textures, which are not compatible with other track including the default. I've got the straights and curves done, and now I'm working on more turnouts. :)
Cheers!

Marc, David is responsible for the standardized tsection.dat file and only uploads that file when there are new versions, I do the XTracks package (with contributions from others). Shape files and textures are distributed in various track packages like XTracks or UKFS never with the tsection.dat releases David makes.
Your shapes (looking great BTW) are they replacements for current shapes or are they new shapes with a different geometry?

Ooops! My bad - I completely misunderstood.

Thanks. They're completely new shapes, but I referenced some of the original Kuju entries for paths. :)
Cheers!

So is this going to be a new track type package, or combined with X-Tracks.

Also, if combined with X-Tracks, how will routes currently using X-Tracks work?
