Haha Richard, you nearly had me fooled then. For a minute I thought you were being serious! Nice one. What on earth did you do to it to make it look like that? I take it it was a 47 once?

Basildd,
I don't mind the fact you don't like my repaints!
But i do mind the fact that you put you dislikes all around that place, some people might like my model repaints, but that fact you don't dose not mean that everyone els wont!!!!!!!!!!
What on earth did you do to it to make it look like that? I take it it was a 47 once?

You mean a Class 47 - like the ones in the UK?

There is not need!
You new that is was a class 47 all along!
You have repainted them yourself!

I have done you one favor, not so much about M.P.S
BUT I'm not giving up repainting just because you don't like em!!!!!!!
Regards
Matt

Oh so it was serious and not a joke then...an easy mistake to make having seen the screenshots. I'll say no more about it. Far be it from me to discourage you!

Hmm

Instead of criticising other people's work and getting into elitist arguments Basil perhaps you should be helping out by doing the newby reskinning tutorial on the front page; it's a bit old, and I'm sure that there are many tricks that you would like to share with us. It's a bit old and doesn't even say to go and get tgatools and tview! Your productivity may slow down for a bit, but other's will increase!

Just an idea anyway :) :) :)

Theres no elitist argument as far as I am concerned This was a thread from Raaraa and was responded to in response to what he posted. He might think the loco looks great - I happen to think differently. Just my opinion, no one has to take any notice of it. If he didn't want any comments about it, he shouldn't have posted it and if he didn't want any negative comments, he should have had a hard look at it and compared it with the original before it was repainted and then see how it looked in comparison. If I had built the loco and someone had done that to it, I wouldn't upload any more or I certainly wouldn't permit any repaints... As for the loco, if people like it I am sure they will say so, as Hymek has (and I am sure he'll get much enjoyment out of using it when its available) - if they don't they will more than likely not say anything. There are people far better than me who can write tutorials and as for productivity slowing down, as I have only uploaded one thing this month, to slow down will mean not uploading anything else. So maybe I should just let everyone else get on with it and find more constructive use of my time...
