The inspector condemned the line and the GWR had to take over and fix it. The inspection is covered by two of the activities and the GWR repairs feature in a third.

I suppose I should point out (to those who aren't involved) that 7 of the activities take place before the official opening (the 8th is the opening). I think I've got a long way to go before writing the activity for the demolition train. Much fun ahead!

P.S. I've just bought a Highworth proof laptop - Athlon 64 3400MHz :)

Please don't Martin. Much too depressing...

The last 'real' train on the line for which there is a photo is D4112 collecting a single van from the Vickers factory in 1965. That would be depressing enough. After that the only known photos are of the track ripping gang and I really couldn't stomach an activity based on that.

Paul, where are your updated Dean and Aberdare located? I can see only what appear to be old versions at the Highworth site.

The updated models are on the same page as before, but just above the file download it should say Version 2 for the Dean and version 1.2 for the aberdare.

I have just patched the new Dean and Aberdare again today after finding a few problems with cabs/sounds etc

So if anyone has had trouble too then these should fix them.

I will update them on UKTS tomorrow (assuming I don't find any other problems)
