Good shots as always! Sorry for putting out 1L42 beforehand

I'm sure yours is different though so people can get a different drive on both services
A question for you though, is it mainly greens with the odd check here and there? If so, I would be interested in using the activity for a Swindon - Paddington leg of a GWML cab ride for MSTSstudios. Although this won't be released for some time yet, I am looking into activities to use, and this could be the one!
Cheers,
James.

James, no worries mate, it's so wierd that two people almost at the same time had similar ideas to glue the two routes together, as far as your question goes, a lot of the time with HSTs into Paddington it all depends which service you are on and also of course delays to trains ahead of you, Reading to London is full to capacity with HSTs and of course the odd Turbo now and then, the main point for being checked though is indeed Airport Junction, when I'm going up as a Train Manager, I'd say 85% of the time the train will get yellows there, simply because the Airport Express trains have path priority, Reading station is another area that you can get checked, when that Swansea train arrives at about 11,57, there is an 11;54 and an 11;50 HST service ahead, so as you can imagine only one of those needs to be a few mins out and you have a check.
In the main though you can get greens all the way in, only Airport Junction is the major dampner on that.
Cheers mate, look forward to seeing what you create next
Jamie

Hi Jamie,
Mine is riding yellows all the way from Reading - Paddington, but that's because your late and Reading PSB has shoved the 1118 ex bedwyn in front :p
I have done Bath - Paddington so many times (usually the 0713 off Bath and 2130 return) on Saturdays, I often get to know what platform we are booked in, what services I should see etc

9 times out of 10 there's usually a check on the approach to Slough for some odd reason, after Slough it's back to greens anyway, so I don't know the reason for that
For AI I have decided to path Voyagers and Turbos on the fast, though I have heard that the idea of ATP is that only ATP fitted trains can run on the Fast between Paddington and Bristol, but nowadays Voyagers and Turbos run on the fast anyway! (IIRC they are not ATP fitted?) One Saturday morning I saw a freight on there too! I try and make my activities as real as possible though, just based on what I see in reality really, and helps that I live in GW land
As for the next activity, that would be the 6Z80 Reading - Fairwater Yard (Not a real service as far as I'm aware of, but is to make use of the HOBC wagons mainly) Traffic is as per Bradshaw's 2010 TT, and I'm basically slotting in my own path!
Cheers,
James.

James, ATP applies to trains capable of 125, so Turbos are allowed on the fast, Voyagers are no longer allowed into Paddington, simply due to the fact that there is not enough paths available, I am a regular guard on the train behind the one you catch, the 07;43 which is called The Bristolian and is the 06;49 from Weston.
I'm not really a fan of freight, I much prefer express driving so will probably make a few more HST activities and maybe a couple of local FGW services around Bristol and some Arriva Wales serviceson BrisCard.
Anyway nice to chat with you James and maybe I'll see you one day when I'm working an HST into Pad

I have probably had you once, as I started my All Line Rover week (around 2-3 weeks ago) on the 07:43, and took a few minutes to unlock the doors when we got to Paddington

, I'll look out for ya name badge if I'm out and about ever out on my local patch!
Meanwhile...Thanks for the tip on ATP stuff, explains why Turbos are on the fast along with Voyagers (West side of Reading of course), makes me more confident with shoving those services on the fast for AI.
You can stick to the HSTs and the odd local...I'll try my best not to come up with the same idea and the same time though
Cheers,
James.

Looking good there with those shots.
I'd have liked to have to seen a SWT model in at Reading, although that would have added to the download count for a purely static consist, so a little pointless
I'm working on a number of activities at present for Briscard in between other stuff, which feature in general real services with my nice mix of fake AI thrown in, although I've made up one of my routes to change things about a little bit.
I'm sure there won't be too much of an issue with people doubling up on activities along certain stretches as it's highly unlikely they'll be exactly the same

Hi Goeff,
Funny you should say that, I was thinking of an SWT AI myself too but I thought the same as you, though it takes some doing to try and fit a double set into the station.
Though oddly enough, I did add a 378 at the NLL overbridge, but you'll only see it pass if your driving the same style as I was..
I think Jamie had the best idea on leaving that one out!
cheers,
James.

Hi Geoff welcome to the thread lol; I did think about putting a SWT at Reading 4a but decided against it due to the fact that I dont think you can get a 458 from anywhere(I get the feeling I may be corrected there).
It also wouldnt play a major part on the route though just being stored in one place all the time, I can see your point though as no doubt it would have made the activity almost 100% accurate, hey James that wouldnt have been me on your 07;43 as when I get to Pad the doors are unlocked straight away(especially if its breakfast time

).
And yes I think both of you are right at the end of the day if two people come up with similar projects then so beit although one thing you missed James, I'm not sure if you are aware but the 1L42 you created is called "The Red Dragon", I will create the down version which is the 17;45 London to Carmarthen in time(unless of course

)
Anyway what all of this has done is breath new life into MSTS

I knew that was coming, still I should have known with Dorset Coast covering Reading to Waterloo via Staines, I may consider adding the, to my collection in fact I think I will and include them in future acts

Sorry, just had to reply with that....you did ask for it after all lol!
I must say they are VERY good models too, well worth the download. I'll PM you shortly about another BrisCard/GWR act you could do...I'll send that in a bit.
Cheers,
James.
