Some more ME1.2

Post by asalmon »

Here are some more pics taken on my travels on the ME extension.

They are still devoid of traffic, my first priority is testng the trackwork.

Nice.

Is my eyesight playing tricks or was that a cross at the end of the Potter's Bar platform?

Just out of curiosity, how far will Retford-King's X be on the new v1.2?

I'll tell you how far when I extend my southbound express activity! :)

It's 25.5 from WCG to KX, so that should give you an idea. It doesn't sound much - but you can see from the shots there's loads in this section - I only show the tip of the iceberg!

There are crosses at 2 stations one at the end of each centre platform at potters bar and hatfield, couldnt build this section and not remember those who were involved.

Very appropriate.
It will add a certain gravity to driving the line.

Thankyou Tim

All the trackwork is according to the relevant quail maps, I must admit when I first drove the new section after signalling I did have a bit of a lump in my throat hoping I didnt get the 10d points prob at that point but all the trackwork is smooth with no lumps and bumps.

I agree, those who were involved should be remembered, a very touching scene.

How's the testing going Alan.

How long before the patch to 1.2 is ready for download.???
I'm all excited about this one, as soon as I download the patch I'll get my dad extending the Master Cutler.

Will default Activities be upgraded with the patch or as a seperate update?

I think alan is going to rework some of the default ones since i can't extend a path if my life depended on it!

I have also been experimenting with a few scenarios from FP to kings cross and Hornsey too, will release those later if they are any good, but with the inclusion of finsbury park and all that good stuff I am hoping we will see some good Deltic workings out of this.

I have a feeling that my computer's going to have a bout of freezing as I pass Finsbury Park.

Will give Mark Shipman's Deltic's a workout on the Depot.

I can not wait until we get the download.

Are we goping to be able to a full 1.2 Mid east on CD? If so I'll hold off odering it for a bit, 36k connection doesn't like downloading routes :). I've been meaning to get Mid east for absolutley weeks, but I've only just found the cheque book, if the updates in the offing I can wait a il bit longer :)
