slp - no you dont need Cannock Chase 5 to run this as I said earlier Black Country could have been called Cannock Chase 6 (in fact the first beta was CC6  )
as all Cannock Chase 5 is included .

Although all CC5 is included, several sections have been relaid and optimised, so most activities wont work, also as John has said, it started as CC6 but because it was going further away from Cannock, a new name was adopted.
Was running it at Redditch ealier today, just a minor landslip to deal with, then Pete
can release it.

There is some information here:
http://metcam.co.uk.nstempintl.com/history.htm
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metro_Cammell

The most well known products for BR would be the 'Met-Camm' DMUs - the prototype 'lightweight' batch were built in 1955, followed by the production units(later class 101) built 1956 to 1959.

The Blue Pullmans were built 1959/1960.

For the underground:
District Line R49/R59 Stock:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Underground_R_Stock
and '1959' stock, initially for the Picadilly line.

large numbers of steel bodied wagons were also constructed, such as 16 ton and 21 ton mineral wagons, hoppers and departmental wagons such as the Mermaid and Catfish.

Looking forward to this route!

cheers

Sure is Tuesdays and Fridays. Pete pulls the orders either late the night before or first thing on the morning. With CD launches I am pretty confident he will pull on the morning.
Kindest regards
