As I've mentioned on numerous occasions the Oldham Loop disappears as a railway line this October and re-emerges as a Metro extension in 2012 - give or take in the current circumstances.
Will it be single line between Shaw and Crompton and Rochdale as present, or will you adopt a little licence and make it double?
Well that just leaves items 2, 3 and 4; and whilst I'm on a roll has anyone else got good news for me?

I've always wanted to see Cardiff-Southampton done because I think that route's been ignored for some time. Sorry I've forgotten - DC v6 will include Southampton-Salisbury :2gunfire: . Anyway, even Salisbury - Bristol would be welcomed due to the variety of traffic. For instance, one could take a 158 on a Pompey-Cardiff service from Salisbury to Bristol, a 33 with 5 mk1s, or even a 47 on a Speedlink from Eastleigh yard to Severn Tunnel Junction (included on BrisCard I think). Even the odd class 123 made an occasional appearance.

That's the problem when you have so much stock and still trying to sort it - I've not included proprietary stock in my master TOPS folders yet, and hence a

What I'd like to see is a Paddington Westward Route fully and realistically sceneried. When you see MEP this is the standard I'm looking at.
Ditto for a London to Brighton Route set in the transition era.
I think that although there will always be stuff that is "new" (as in not done before) we should be looking at revisiting classics and making "era specific" versions. Many older members of the community know what railways were like in the transition era and the trains, track and traffic were a different world from todays railways. If there's a present day version of a route then revise the track and signalling and make a transition era version and vice versa?
Stock packs for routes that would give prototypical stock with compatible physics, brakes and couplings so that activities could concentrate on the movement rather than searching out and downloading stock.
Finally there is a lot in the library that most of the authors would admit was "an early effort" and often they've gone on to produce better quality models as their skill has increased. Updating early models would be a plus?

Thames Mersey relaid in UKFS (Better get started Dave *runs*)
Prehaps a route where you can start at a depot in a 47 then go and fill it up and collect some MK1s

In a similar veign it would be nice if Don made BD2 compatable with BC1 and merged them into one route

How about merging all the UK routes together and see which lines aint covered and build them to release UKTS - The UK by 2010

Ft. William - Malliag.
Funny, I could swear I made that one...twice!
I think more than content it would have been nice to have seen a few more improvements to the core...
Modelling of train suspension movement and cab dip/sway.
A career mode/tracker.
Upgrading the AI to be dynamic, i.e. not sticking to the defined path but resolving conflicts and stand-offs.
Proper modelling of on train signalling/safety systems - AWS, ATP etc.
Unfortunately even Kuju's spiritual successor (RS/RW) hasn't managed much of that, other than a basic iplementation of AWS.
