Possiblility - Route Learning Video

Post by tubemad »

Hi all,

A new idea has cropped up for the MSTSstudio collections on top of our cab rides, and that is a new concept: Route Learning videos.

Before we even start thinking of such idea, I'd like to know...would anyone find this useful?

Basically it will be done the same way route learning videos are done in reality for real TOCs..just this will be through MSTS. basically it is a cab ride that will show the types of signals, names of junctions, name of lines, locations etc and might even add on there ideas of where you should slow down for stations too.

If this proves it will be of interest, It will be piloted on DC v6.

The idea is you can gain knowledge of a route like you would need to if you were to be a driver under training, and would help you also to drive without any aids like F4 on too.

If anyone is for this project, let me know, or if you have any ideas on top of it as well, also feel free to reply.

Cheers,

James.
