Re: Heathrow Express route to MSTS?
Hope I will not sound repetitive, but the route description in MSTS says that you should switch at Cambridge. Have I misunderstood something?

You have misunderstood it. The junction is as said just past Stansted Mountfitchet station, and don't worry about sounding repetitive. We're glad to help you.TGVtrain wrote:Hope I will not sound repetitive, but the route description in MSTS says that you should switch at Cambridge. Have I misunderstood something?

I think what it means at Hackney Downs you take the Cambridge Route, then when you get to Stanstead Mountfitchet, you come off the Cambridge Line onto the Stanstead Airport Branch.
Or are you starting from Cambridge?,if so you take the route to Shelford not Royston, then carry onto Stanstead North Junction, where you diverge to the left, and pick up the Stanstead Airport Branch.

CrossCountry run 170s to Stansted via Cambridge, all other Stansted services on the route are run with NXEA 317s from Liverpool St.

I can confirm that platforms 3-12 are electrified along with lines 1-6, the Engine and Carriage line (E&C), reception lines 1/2 and carriage lines 1/2. If anyone has anymore questions on the real Heathrow Express/Connect then feel free to post it or PM me. Oh and if you are wondering I am a Train Driver for Heathrow Express.
