I agree with what the others have said. It is your time and you should do what you want to do and not let it become a chore. Certainly if you can try and go to a terminus (a fictional King's Cross maybe) and if at all possible build up the cities. I live in Peterborough and I know it is basically fictional but it seems you go from countryside to station and back to countryside all too quickly. Whatever you do thanks for a great route.

Nah, only joking. I wouldn't be cruel to animals. So Wales is safe, then...

Mideast is the BEST. I like a couple of other routes but Mideast is the only route I really use. It's an outstanding piece of route building. I would definately like to have King's Cross available. That would be awesome to see, especially with the quality you have already in the route.
Outdated, never.
I also wouldn't like to see major updates go for nothing either. I would certainly want to pay for these updates.
In the end it's your decision Tim. Hopefully you'll continue to astound us with this great route.

Although the route may be considered dated in terms of MSTS default track etc, I like it not because of the track/signals (though they help!) or any other thing found in the more recent routes, but because it has so much to see and do. Tim has used almost every piece of scenery on the internet to create an almost 'living' world. Combined with the diversity of the route, it makes other routes seem 'boring' in comparison!
I believe it should be continued, because it can be modelled into any era, and I'm quite happy to create my own activities using FNW or SWT stock because you can just have some good paths and services.
Just my 2p

i know this sounds really bias, You could always do the severn valley railway, Its only 16 miles but it will be a challenging route for scenery, and we already have most of the locos for it anyway

ME v.3- Up to Leeds and York, from Norwich to Liverpool Street and expand the midlands to Nottingham
ME v.4-York and Leeds to Newcastle, up to Sheffield and down to London St. Pancras from Nottingham, rest of east anglia.
ME v.5- Newcastle to Glasgow and Aberdeen and most lines off the ECML.
ME v.6 to 10- Down the WCML to London Euston with and rest of the midlands (complete with S&C) and all scottish routes.
ME v.11 to 15 - GW main line from Cardiff to Bristol and all other Welsh lines.
ME v.16-20 - GWR Main Line to London and Cornwall.
ME v.21-30 - Southern Main lines.
ME v.31-50 - All branch lines not yet done
Anyone notice something about this list?
Seriously, Would like to say, what make's Mideast and all the ECML Versions better than any other route is the Driveability. How many route's can vary every time you drive it, Not mine, that's for sure. (Well v1 anyway)
Mideast is one of the easiest Route's to build activities for, Has diverse Scenery, Stock and lot's of potential.

Hi,
I am from Austria, and I only collect British Routes and I am happy that I have (I hope so) all versions of your great ECML. It was the first Route which I have downloaded, and is one of this routes I use very often! I hope I can drive somedays from London to ? on your great route!
many thanks
Thomas

DID SOMEONE SAY SOUTHERN!?!

Yeah MidEast is great Tim, A fine piece of craftsmanship. Do like people said and do what you feel, i've got quite a few projects on the go and I just add to them as I feel like it, as long as you enjoy it!
Persoannly I think Kings Cross would be good, got lots of piccys if you want them and plans, etc.. A Central London Terminus will be a bitch to do
Horgy
