. When I try to run loco 5164 (GWR '5101') the brakes will not fully release and the graphic shows either 'applied 0 to 100%' or 'running 0%', I cannot get the brakes to release at all. The LE will eventually move if the regulator is fully applied but with a rake of coaches the engine just sits spinning its wheels. Please help!

Regards

Big Al

Press the J key and this should turn on the ejector! That should blow up a brake! Make sure you have the brake in the Running position while you do this! If you have it APPLY 100 then it will stay applied!

To get the brakes to work on GWR/BR steam loco's you always have to press J to turn the ejector on and off..

Hi Big Al,
Also, always remember to (once the brakes are realesed) return the small ejector 'J' key to ON. Otherwise you will lose steam.

When braking to a halt have the injector OFF and the brake application can be varied.

Hope this helps.
