Hi all, I would like to creat the consist of EWS Class 90 + 8 mk3 coaches + a DVT as being used currently on Virgin Trains
I am aware that when going into Activitiy Editor the only consists show what train you have picked, is there a way to get round this?
Much appreciated, Cheers

There are two ways of doing this:
If the stock has been used in another activity or activities, and you know which they are, simply use classic train store to unstore those activities and the stock will be available to use in your new activity.
Otherwise use the maintenance mode stock andconsists feature to make the stock and consists available. You'll have to read the trainstore manual for details of how to do that.

Hello,
I do it the same way (by the way, also when I'm working with routes) with the exception that I don't copy but shift the files to avoid Trainstore's questions which file to keep in case of changes.
Keep on steamin'!

In my case I have reverted to MSTS A and E - it might be a little long winded but still satisfactory for me. Once the consist is created other similar consists can be created by copying, renaming and changing the ENGine say within the consist in the CONSISTS folder of the TRAINS folder of MSTS.
But of course each to their own . . .
The best and quickest way is the way that YOU know - excuse the truism.

PS Know that this post doesn't address the idea of using TrainStore, but might be of value!

I would recommend Conbuilder as a very easy way to make or alter consists. It may be a payware program but it is cheap compared to the costs of commercial routes.
