Re: OK TO PROCEED MESSAGE
It could be that there are too many sounds running on the particular location you are at. I often get this for example at liverpool street station on GE when there is a lot of AI stock around. It's just msts struggling to load all the sounds.
Also, you don't need to put all your thread titles in capitals, every thread gets noticed by someone, and i doubt very much it being in caps will get you replies any quicker than without.

Ive also got this problem on a few of the largest routes
I think some are pushing the boundaries just a little too far. I have captions turned on so i usually get a visual "ok to proceed" but I cant hear anything at signals when pressing TAB for instance.

Try this...
In your route's SOUND folder, locate the file "ingame.sms" and open with wordpad,
You'll see something like this
SIMISA@@@@@@@@@@JINX0x1t______
Tr_SMS (
ScalabiltyGroup( 3
Activation ( ExternalCam() CabCam() PassengerCam() )
Deactivation( )
Ignore3d ()
Streams ( 3
Stream (
Priority ( 7 )
Triggers ( 8
Discrete_Trigger
Change the Priority ( 7 ), to say, Priority ( 3 ).
That should have the effect of moving the messages up the pecking order in msts sound allocations.
Worth a try..........
