Hello,

I hate to reveal my ignorance, but how many MFS-Ds (as recently uploaded to ukts) make a typical rake in real life?...I have no idea  (perhaps I should stick with sensible Seacows and a Shark brakevan).

Clay.

Thanks for that link Jon, I now know! (I admit didn't think to do a search - apologies).

Thanks again,

Clay.

Ok this seems to be getting mixed up
the model Matt made isnt an Autoballister ( http://ukrailrollingstock.fotopic.net/c1274142.html )
Its a High Output Ballast Cleaner usually seen with a pair of 66s *freightliner* or HOBC for short
http://uk-wagons.fotopic.net/c1592296.html
1 HOBC is usually an average of 19 YDA's with http://uk-wagons.fotopic.net/p54136862.html that YSA and can have 66's either end. But can also be singled BUT usually due to the size being at least 30 + per consist TnT is required

Recent consist was 6Y33 1210 Bath Spa to Westbury

Thanks for the further links, I was aware of the HQA's but simply didn't know about the reason of MFS-D's (I think I have seen them about). Out of interest is there an msts model of the HQA's? (I know there's not one at ukts).
