If there's an A4 and a B1 in the pack you should be able to use the reskins.

I suggest you read the Readme files in the reskins.

Well, one A4 at least says it copies files from 60009, so I suggest you have a good read of the readmes - you can view these before downloading.

Oh yes you can.

For example, I've just searched the Trainsim File Library for a World Steam Loco with the keyword A4. The third file down is the MSTS Blue Arrow TS LNER Pack A4 60022. Click on View and you will see a file contents listing of this download. Click on the Readme.txt file, and you will see the contents - it says:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BLUE ARROW TS LNER PACK A4 60022 MALLARD

Blue Arrow TS proudly presents a reskin of their A4 as 60022 Mallard in weathered Brunswick Green.

In order for this locomotive to work, you must have previously installed the Blue Arrow TS LNER add-on pack. Failure to do so may render your installation of Microsoft Train Simulator unstable, or may cause it to crash altogether.

Run the .exe file to install the locomotive. Please note that after installation, the installer runs a small script to copy over the files needed from the default A4 60009.

A consist is included to get you up and running straight away.

Reskin by Dan Hamblin
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As you see, it mentions the default A4 60009.

I can confirm (as author of that reskin) that 60009 is the base model.

Just be aware that certain reskins copy bits from other models within the same pack.

Dan

I think it is time that you checked each of the reskins on Trainsim for yourself, in the way I suggested - it really is very easy to view and read the Readme files before downloading. You can look at all of the A4s and B1s and check them against the ones you have installed.

BUMP!!!!!

I thought I remembered this thread.

Check out http://www.abacuspub.com/ts/ who seem to have the Peppercorns mini add-on available for download for $10US or just over £6. That's £2 a loco.

I think I bought this on CD but it's a long while since I had it installed.

I was a tads surprised to stumble on this as I was looking at other stuff.

They also seem to have the Nene Valley. Is that still available elsewhere?
