AND D9016 MITE RUN L/E TO CLEETHOPES ON FRI FOR THE TOUR TO EDIN ON SAT. THEN DEC 5TH D9016 IS GOIN INTO LIVERPOOL ST (YES U SAW CORRECTLY NOT A MISS PRINT) WILL B DOIN MID HANTS - LIVERPOOL ST-ALTON. PLUS D9016 IS PULLING THE DEC14TH TOUR WHICH IV NOW BOOKED UP IPSWICH-STRATFORD-NON STOP TO YORK AND BACK. SO DELTIC LOVERS IT A GREAT MONTH AHEAD...............

Great to read that 9016 is to be repainted in proper livery. Is she going to loose those god awfull indicator things on her nose?

poor engine
I thought 9006 looks like a very fast Quality Street. It's like getting a Ferrari and then giving it fake fins and mudflaps.
Busy time for 9016 indeed. 9000 is going to be having main generator repairs until early 2003. I have noticed that all trips until early 2003 have been changed to 9016 because of this with the exception of Dec 28th KX to Scarborough run which clashes with a run from Birmingham with 9016. No mention at all of whether the Scarborough trip is running or not. Now I feel really confident to purchase a ticket for that one!
