D1015 to the rescue

Post by snowcrashandy »

Anyone lucky enough to have been on the failed 17.10 Bristol - Paddington HST service last night would have enjoyed Western haulage courtesy of D1015, it hauled the train from Wootton Bassett to Swindon and then took the empty stock back to Bristol.

DREADFUL!

Cool. Wish I'd have been on that 1710 service to Paddington! Getting bored senseless of travelling on those old HST's now. Bring back some heritage loco's to replace a few of them is what I say!

Now that's what you call a 'Thunderbird' loco.

DREADFULL.

Hope the passengers, sorry..customers :-? on the HST appreciated their very rare haulage.

I'm gobsmacked.

Wht Chill pils? Is this some sort of 'S Club 4' Text lingo? As I am not sure what you are referring to I can't really answer - but if it has anything to do with any recent posting about anyone causing me 'stress' on the site, then falling about laughing is the best cure. I have never been stressed by the site or anyone - when you do a job like I do, where responsibility lies in the Performance of an International Terminal, the trains, the passengers, the staff and the contractors, then maybe you'd understand more. I don't suffer from stress at work and I certainly don't outside of work. The simple answer is know your limitations, do everything to the best of your ability and don't lose your sense of humour. You won't go too far wrong then! :D
