Do you have all six default routes installed? What exact error messages are you getting (i.e. which texture files aren't loading)?

I have all the default routes, XTracks & Newroads plus the stock for the activites. Errors are the Global, Textures (about everything) hope this helps.

Noted, but what are the EXACT error messages? Knowing precisely whuich files are involved should help us to pin-point the problem.

Hope this is enough.

Error 1 : "No extended shaped data for ___________ . S"

Error 2 : "Failed to open texture file - Global/Textures ___________ . ace

Hope this infomation can help pin - point the problem.

But you still have not told us what files are causing the problem !

There will be a lot of .S files and a lot of .ACE files used in the route. Given it is a "failed to open" error in 1 case it might be that your graphics settings are too high and need to be turned down a bit.

We need the full error message including the file names in order to help you further.
Kindest regards

Did you check to see if there was an installme.bat file or something similar in the route folder after install, and if there was, did you run it?

Yes i did run the installme.bat and it was there after installation.
By the way, i have recorded the errors which come up and keep coming up.

"No extended shape data for - A1t25015d / A1tendpnt6d"

"Failed to open texture file - Global/Textures A cleantrack1 / A cleantrack2"

"Shape file failed to open - A1t5mstrts"

I really hope this works, otherwise i might have to take it off.

Can we assume you have read the Readme, and installed the prerequisites? It says:

PREREQUISITES

This route uses Xtracks. If you do NOT already have it installed, you MUST install Xtracks V3.17 (or later) before attempting to install this route.

Sections of road sections from NewRoads are also used in the route. If you do NOT already have it installed, you MUST install NewRoads V3.2 or later before installing this route.

My railway photos are now on Google + - links to the albums are in this thread http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 9&t=149558

Lots of steam and early diesels from 1959 to 1963.

have you tried turning your graphics settings down?

It looks like the files are there (otherwise you'd get a failed to find ...), but MSTS is struggling to load everything.

I think Geoff may have the answer (or at least part of it) - there's a difference between "failed to open" errors (which occur when you have the file but MSTS cannot open it, usually due to lack of memory resources) and "failed to find" errors (which occur when you don't have the file installed in the right place or anywhere on your system.

Firstly, try turning your settings down. Secondly, use Windows Explorer to search for some of the files - that way, you'll know whether you actually have them installed or not.

I've had errors like those appearing in other routes I have loaded. ROUTE RITER usually solves them by copying them from other routes where they are in use.

It's worth a try.
