Hi
Have you edited the eng file to point to the new cabview.

Can someone make this clearer because i can not understand this.

Cabview for UK Class37(Growler) Diesel locomotive.

--------------------------------------------------------------
Install:
1 Backup and delete the oroginal folder of [CABVIEW].
2 Unzip [37cabV2.zip] and put the folder of [CABVIEW]
into your trainset(ex.[37411EWSbb] [37081_Large_logo]...).
3 Change next line of eng-file.

CabView ( xxxx.cvf ) -----> CabView ( class37.cvf )

--------------------------------------------------------------

If you use common.cab

1 Unzip [37cabV2.zip] and rename [CABVIEW] to [37cab].
2 Put [37cab] into the folder of [common.cab].
3 Put [class37C.cvf] into the folder of [CABVIEW] of your trainset.
4 Change next line of eng-file.

CabView ( xxxx.cvf ) -----> CabView ( class37C.cvf )

Hi
The first one is if your installing all the cabview files (including the ace files) directly into a single loco's cabview folder.
The second one has a C in the file name and is used if you install all the cabview files (including the ace files) into a folder called '37Cab' in the ' common.cab ' folder.
Both methods require you, to be able to edit the Eng file.
The second method is used if you have a number of Class 37s.
As once you have the cabview installed as a common cab, you only need to place a copy of the ' Class37C.cvf ' into a loco's cabview folder, and edit the eng file.
This saves HD space.
Cheers

You really need to read the beginners Tutorials.
Yes there is an ENG file with ever loco in MSTS.
These should be opened with WORDPAD.
Right click on the file.... and select open with.

To add to what Jon's said, If you cannot see a .eng file in each loco folder, it's probable that you have them stored in TrainStore. A read of the Trainstore manual will explain how to use maintenance mode to unstore just the stock you need to edit.
