Hi Art. :( :(

In two words don't bother,it's like msts was 6 years ago, you'd need a gang plank to get on a train, there so far away from the platform, very basic scenery and I mean basic, two of the activities crashed after 5 minutes.

One activity needs coal hoppers, not mentioned on the read me,but I found some hoppers on the coach down load, the only thing that's good are the Indian Rolling stock that's needed to run the route. Also it's easy to install

Sorry if I'm being negative but remember this my view of the route, others might have a different view.

Michael,
I think you were being a bit harsh on the builder of this route. Maybe it is not up to standard that we expect, but maybe it was this persons first attempt at building a route, that he thought he might like to share with others.
Remember there are still a lot of newcomers to MSTS, despite its age and a lot of people are still going through the learning curve.
At least he has built a route, which is more than I have done in seven years of running MSTS, although I have contributed my bit over the years, doing other things, like adding all the illuminations to the Blackpool Tramway, something that was no mean fete.

He's up loaded quite a few routes on train-simdot com and none of them have ever worked properly, and there is no harm in being truthful . As I said it was just my opinion,as some one asked what the route was like.

I also notice no one has contradicted me yet. In future I'll keep my mouth shut then I can't get into trouble.

OK guys - stop right now.

Someone has built something and took the trouble to upload it with some help from Pete on the UKTS support system. It worked for Pete so it was approved. I have downloaded it but not installed it since I have been working since 7:45 this morning and still am tinkering with our systems in work.

It might not be an all-singing / all-dancing route but he took the time to do it and upload it so please offer constructive advice rather than saying "In two words don't bother".
Kindest regards

A screenshot was requested, here is one.

I used default US stock for convenience. Where are the signal posts? I checked with Shape Viewer and very nice ones they are too.

Within a couple of minutes of publishing that screenshot, I realised what was wrong with the signals, the posts are there it is that they are overwhelmed by the size of the lenses. Checking the sigcfg.dat file shows that the radius of the lenses is set to 1.04, on resetting to 0.14 the same location is as follows.

I would have posted this earlier but have been unable to get on to UKTS until now, broadband must be operating at capacity here in North Warwickshire.

Would anyone like to comment on the OHL posts being between the platform and the running line? Methinks Michael Hendle is owed an apology. He may well have been over the top with his don't bother comment, but that does not remove the fact that there are problems, one of which is a large white-out area just after leaving Badnera Junction. This means of course MSTSBin has to be used, which is not for me, so I doubt I will play with this route any further.

Actually it doesnt. Many other routes have suffered with the same problem which is an msts bug. Its easily fixed by saving once your consist is in the white out area, and reloading then it works fine again. Bin saved the need for this but it isnt necessary.

That's what I used to do on Thames Mersey, pre-bin patch when on an act involving Liverpool.
