I have been runnin msts for ages now and get a mim of 25fps, but recently it has been going down to 2fps.

it does it like this:
25fps for about 10 seconds, then 2fps for about 5 seconds, then 25fps for about 10 seconds, then 2fps for about 5 seconds, then 25fps for about 10 seconds, then 2fps for about 5 seconds........

How can i fix this

nothing has been added or deleted from my PC

Upgrade your PC, do you get the same results on other routes? Maybe the 2fps was when an AI train passed you.

Suggest you have a look at the FPS thread on the same board - lots of ways to improve performance of MSTS.
As the man says though, in the end raw power works best! As much memory as you can afford and the fastest processor you can afford is usually the best option

Are you sure? Not even 1 more downloaded file from this site? Start by uninstalling the last thing you put on / setting back to the previous settings the last thing you changed. FPS won't go haywire just because the earth turns and a nother day begins, something must be causing it.
