That's right everyone, Thomas the tank engine will be joined with new friend.

I'm sure most of us know about Harvey the steam crane engine, Salty the diesel, and Elizabeth the steam Lorry.

But, we have just receive word that five new friends are coming onto the T.V series. There names are Fergus, Emily, Spencer, Clarence and Murdoch.

We only know are the names of the characters. So we don't know, which ones are engines yet.

When are they on?
Sadly I only have the time, for when the new friends will appear on Australian, ABC kids T.V.
But for the other countries keep an eye out as they may appear soon.

If you do live in Australia, here is the time.
The New friends will start to come on Monday 21st, at ABC kids, 8:25am.

Whoa! That's BIG news! Where or how do you guys get info like that about Thomas? (I want to be on the inside too!)

Unfortunately for me, I'll be seeing them some time next year since they don't give Thomas on TV here in the US. It has been all direct-to-video episodes for the past two seasons over here. The next video isn't scheduled until the end of Winter 2003.

If you have any screenshots of those five new characters, please post them, and please let me know of your inside sources about upcoming Thomas episodes! Believe it or not, I've been a Thomas Fan for over 15 years...and not ashamed to admit it!!!

OK. Everyone here is the sad news.

I don't have a camera to take a picture of the new characters.

But when the show are on, I maybe able to make 3D models of them.
I'll also try post infomation about then too. But right now, we still only have their names.

Plus the Thomas website may have info about them in the months to come.

I don't think he has that type of info about them yet since it's fresh news.

BUT...I just emailed the ABC TV Station in Australia inquiring about those five new characters, stating that I wish to learn about them. Perhaps they'll give me the 4-1-1 on it!

And, of course, I'll post it all here if it's a good reply! Stay tuned everybody!

Not long now, its just a sleep away till the new characters appear and I'll try to tell you who is what type of engine.

This may bee some good news.
I might be able to borrow a camera from work next weekend.

Here's some bad new,

Yes the episodes are new, But they are the ones that have Salty, Harvey, and Elizabeth.

Todays episode is "No sleep for Crankey".
I take the fact that this is the first time in Australia that we finally see Salty Harvey and Elizabeth.

I was sure that they were going to introduce the other new engines, the Newspaper and the T.V adds said thet the new engines names were Fergus, Emily, Spencer, Clarence and Murdoch.
There is a chance that they may appear later on in the week, but I could be wrong.

Looks like all 8 characters (Salty, Harvey, Elizabeth, Fergus, Emily, Spencer, Clarence, & Murdoch) are among those making their Thomas TV debut for the 6th Season.

I guess you've finally met Salty and Harvey today, mstnoodle! Elizabeth should appear this week since she's among the first six episodes.

About the other five, I take it they're in later episodes...
