Try unstoring the whole route and then selecting one activity using easy trainstore. That will force the software to resave anything not needed and the activity should then work. You could also try installing a copy of the latest tsection.dat file in case its been overwritten by an older version.

As for the errors. A patch has been issued in the last week to fix the first error. You will still get one error but the activity will run to completion ok ( it did before but with a missing piece of AI ) There does appear to be a problem with the ITR, but unless you want to run that (few people bother) you can safely ignore it as it wont affect anything else.

So where do I get the patch?

Out of curiosity, I have downloaded the patch and run trainstore, I stored everything except the TM route, still no luck in playing the add-on, so I unstored route by route but still no luck at playing Thames Mersey on vista. What would be the chance of returning the disc and getting another route sent out.?

That is the problem then - you need to store Thames Mersey as well - it has so many paths, consists etc. that it will take an age to load without it. Once you have everything stored you can unstore each individual activity in rotation or use "Easy Trainstore" mode.

There is nothing wrong with the DVD in itself.

I can confirm what John ( Easilyconfused ) says. On my super duper mega fast state of the art PC Thames Mersey fully unstored takes 25 minutes to load. Running a single activity using easy trainstore makes it load within a minute. :)

Just load the activity you want to run with easy Trainstore = no problems

You are not reading the advice correctly - store everything and then either use Easy Trainstore mode or unstore 1 activity only - if you unstore the entire Thames Mersey route and it's activities you will continue to get problems.

Either that or be patient. Go away and do some jobs, make a cup of tea, watch Eastenders, come back to the PC half an hour later and it will have loaded. Ignore any not responding messages, it cant respond as its too busy loading, but it is still loading. :)

You don't have to unstore anything with Trainstores Easy Menu

select the route in the left hand window then make sure the right hand window is set to run an activity not explore the route. Select the activity then click run. No need to mess about storing all the other routes its done automatically

Still got problems, did as suggested and when I click on run it just comes up on bottom left of easy trainstore 'move' plus the launch MSTS button is still greyed out. I understand that its not the disc, so its either trainstore thats playing up or its my laptop thats the problem, even though my laptop has DVD -/+ RW with an intel 943GML 120GB S-ATA HDD with a 4 in 1 Card reader

This is the trainstore I've got, it seems to me that maybe this is the older version and not the new version even tho I have downloaded trainstore from the disc. Maybe someone can confirm if this is the older version of trainstore
