Arriva Trains Wales 158 in Cambrian 2

I'm trying to run some modern stock on Cambrian2. There are four activities, I think, that use Arriva Trains Wales 158824. I have all necessary files installed for this stock, but on loading I get a Error Reading Train Database file [lines 275, 213] telling me that specific *eng files are missing - they are NOT. I don't particularly want to change the stock, but would be interested to find out if anyone else has had this problem and if so how did they resolve it ? The activities are : ATW Machynlleth to Pwellhi, ATW Shrewsbury to Machynlleth, BR80's Welshpool to Brecon via Moat Lane & BR80's Aberystwyth to Swansea. Thanks for any help offered. Steve

Hi Steve,

I think you'll find that 158824 requires MSTSBin to be installed. If you don't have it installed then that is almost certainly the answer. There is an MSTSBin download page on UKTS, but I can't remember off hand where it is. I would recommend you install it. I found MSTSBin by googling it when I installed it.

Errors about the 200-300 Mark in standard MSTS setups do tend to indicate MSTSbin errors ... its the lights options and from what I can tell, is the *only* section of MSTSbin that is not backwards compatable.

Thanks for replies - I do have MSTS Bin installed, so I think the problem may be elsewhwere - I think the lights might be a possibility because I can recall another post on this subject where it also stated that it was a light issue & they recommended usung an EB 158 cabview - however it was not stated which 158! Which version of MSTSBin do you have? Versions below 1.7 had a different lighting structure.

Lights are contained within the Engine file and are not anything to do with any cabview.

Thanks for your reply - I had MSTS Bin v1.7 installed which I have now reinstalled and it seems to have cured the problem.
