Hi to eveyone at UK Trainsim

It,s Gary Cox and I am in Wildenreth Germany at the Siemans Test Centre, testing our new Units out Class 360 Desiro Units.
Also here is the ICE Train and some Class 350 Units for South West trains.

The new Units perform very well and I have several pictures for Dave Babb Mr Modern EMU.

A Special hello to Dave Roles John Dibben Tim Court and Dale Stewart.
Tomorrow me and my group from First Great Eastern may get to drive the ICE Train on the Test Circuit here.

Well best wishes from Germany.
Auf Weidersehn

Everyone knows that, looking at your username. And do you have pictures of the new unit?

There must have been a point to this post but its lost on me - or is it just here to annoy people and be provocative?

Hi Gary,

Sounds as though you are enjoying your visit out there! If you can master the ICE unit you may well be in line for a job driving them out of St Pancras in not so many years time!

hi gary
how long have you been at wildenwrath, my dad and a few colleagues have been out there a couple of times, to service the swt vep that went out there.
just to correct you on a little bit in you're opening post, swt have ordered 450's and 440's {i think the second number might be a bit out, but the ones you have seen are definetly 450's, the first unit 450012 has arrived at shoebury ness, and more are planned to be delivered 11th november}.

my dad has brought me back some stuff about the place where you are working, have you spoken to the swt drivers? then send progress reports to swt employee magazine, so if you see them, say hello from all the gang at fratton depot and you might get a mention if they are mentioned themselves.
hope you enjoy you're stay at wildenwrath, but be warned, my dad went out there in febuary, and he said the temperatures were constantly below 0*C

Are these Desiro units the same as the Desiro units in service with DB in Germany? If so, I have drawings of them.

The pic on the SWT site with their press release about Desiros does not look much like this, unfortunately:
