Hi wertyuv every thing that gets released or that is in production tends to be on there site so unless there are any announcments on there site or forum i would say nothing has been released.

Absolutely nothing official in the way of GE additions other than the parts that make up the later GE versions.

I think it was said before that it's not going to be extended any more and that was I'm sure posted on both this site and MT's own site.

Anyway, if MT were thinking of it, it would have to be a new route maybe Great Eastern 2 with just the northern parts of the route ie Norwich, Felixstowe, Great Yarmouth, Berney Arms etc...

But haven't they already got a lot to do at the moment with these stock packs, not to mention the routes they are also working on for us to give them even more work to do, remember they do have other commitments outside MT.

I'd love to know how, why and by whom these rumours start...

Well the OP did say unoffical, so maybe someone thought.."I can do that", then realised how difficult the RE can be?

It would be good though if someone did make it. I'd love to potter around the broads and east Suffolk in a 153/6 like I used too...ah happy days

Not that we are doing, but no it wouldn't have to be a new route, it could be designed to 'tag onto' the existing Great Eastern.

That said, anyone that releases an UNOFFICIAL UPDATE would still need to make sure it didn't install unless the user had GE, and in any case, user support would be dropped by MT & Contact Sales the minute it was modified.

ok thanks. I really didnt mean to start such a massive row. I only wanted to know if my friend was lying in which case he was. But thanks for all your help anyway.

As Dave confirms above, there is NO official extension, therefore there is No V1.4.

Yes but my point is the route is already demanding on PCs without further mileage to add to it which is why I posted that if such a route was to be done, it would be Great Eastern Part 2, covering Norfolk.
