The Highland route advises that you must have " downloaded Pat Dalton's LMS stock pack" to allow the activities to work.
Er, where do I download said stock Pack ?
Can't find it by searching foe "Dalton" or "LMS stock pack" or anything else that might be relevant.
Anybody got a teensey-weensey cluette as to where Pat Dalton's stock pack is ?

I'll be shot down if I'm wrong.....and I'd admit to being a non-railway expert....but I think its the 21-part LMSR Rolling Stock pack.

Do a download search LMSR and you'll find all the file numbers.

That's the one Doug - 'twas available on CD a few years ago before being withdrawn and eventually updated as a download pack.

Yes, the search on keyword "LMSR" works.

I have installed the stock pack but train store will not let me run any of the activities. On checking with 'Activity Analyser' there is the odd bit of stock missing which shouldn't be to hard to fix. But the big problem is that it can't find any consists. These don't seem to have been included in the activity download or am I have I overlooked something?

Hi Macon

There has been a problem with this route, the Activities, Services and Traffic folders went missing.

From the front page, News and annoucements: [Freeware Routes] Highland railway 1930s full report:
Quote: `If you wish to run the activities you will need to have downloaded and installed Pat Daltons LMS Stock Pack.`
Unfortunately the zips do not contain either the Activities, Services or Traffic folders.

For some bizarre reason the file Highland5.zip disappeared.
I have reuploaded it and it now appears on the Front Page.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Now the Consists folder seems to have `disappeared`.

Kindest regards
Ray

You also need the Scottish PO wagons.

It is difficult to locate file 5. "MSTS" has not been entered in the "Simulator" field, so if your UKTS display is filtered to show only MSTS files, as mine is, it does not show.

Does that mean that those of us who bought the LMS stock CD will now have to download the revised pack? ...or were names kept the same for any substitutions?

BTW the CD was a massive amount of stock. Is it all in the download? I no longer have it installed.

Sounds like an ideal candidate for a mini route and mini loader to me?

I have the stock CD and also downloaded it.

As far as I can see there is no difference.

On the original CD I found a few minor errors.
I uploaded corrections as an update with Pat's permission but I'm not sure if this was incorporated in the download version.
However it will do no harm to install this over the top of the download stock.

It is unlikely that you will need all of the download stock for this route. Very few English pregroup locos were seen in Scotland but the coaches and wagons were more widespread. The English PO wagons never crossed the border.
However the same stock will also be used in the upcoming Skipton 1946 route so you might as well download it now.

I will soon be uploading a pack of LMS wagons to add to the stock -Mainly stuff I have built since the CD and most previously unreleased.

Hi Ian, I downloaded and installed the LMS Files from the Main Site and running Route-Riter later on through up quite a few errors in the sound files mainly in the #Trains, all needed changing to the 3cyl sound files and not 2cyl as in the lines of the engine files.
Once I had done this the errors were removed from my list, I have needed to use a few items of stock from the huge list over the last year or two but as you say, there will be loads are never used at all.
