Trains keep Stopping

Post by ThomasTelford »

Hi there! :D

I recently made up a new consist or some stock that came with various cd's,one of the consists that i am having this problem with is made up of a BR Class 37,No' 37 100 and twenty IWA FerryWaggons and the simular CargoWaggons. After i start off the train comes to a complete halt again for no apparent reason after only a few seconds. The brakes are of the same type so i am at a loss as the know why this is happening. :(
Any help from any of you will be great.

Many thanks Thomas Telford! :fadein:

Beacuse of the sheer weight of the train, you may need to add a bit of sand to get the consist going

Use F5 to see what is happening - you can view the state of the brakes, and get a warning if you have any wheelslip. One possibility if you are exceeding the speed limit is that you are getting a penalty brake application.

My railway photos are now on Google + - links to the albums are in this thread http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 9&t=149558

Lots of steam and early diesels from 1959 to 1963.
