Track on dc5

Is there anyway i can change the trak texture. Iv tried installing other ones but it doesnt change. Works with other routes. Any ideas?

Hi

I did this recently myself - swapped DCv5 textures with Great Eastern ones. Basically, in the Routes/Dorset/Textures folder there are a load of .ace files all with UKFS prefixes (i.e. ukfs_rail.ace). You need to swap all these with the UKFS textures you desire from a different route. I don't believe you can swap textures other than UKFS ones. That is about as far as my knowledge on the subjects goes I'm afraid

Yeah ottos wont work with dc5 but the ge ones work a treat. Thanks guys. Iv got ottos ones on my other routes and they work great but couldnt understand why it wouldnt work with this.

They won't work because they're designed for the default track shapes provided with MSTS and in the XTracks package. Dorset Coast uses the UK FineScale track which uses it's own set of textures and higher detail track shapes.
