The original coach files with 512 textures are still available. Alex's files only replace the ace files.

No folder or .wag file names are changed so all activities will still work.

If Andy Dunnett and Andy Dunnett's permissions to use their work is still valid then it is an easy matter to replace the coaches on the CDs.

All activities will still work. The coaches will simply not look as good.

I still think this matter can be easily resolved.
All that is needed is Alex's postal address and the Pete will send the CDs which he is entitled too.

The same applies to anyone else who finds their work on any CD.
If you contribute to a CD you are entitled to a free copy. You just need to ask and supply a postal address.

One thing that will not get the files back is to post offensive comments.
Alex has every right to remove them.

I just hope he re-considers, gets his CDs and puts this matter to rest.

At this point I will lock the thread. I don't think any change in position is likely and further discussion is probably only going to generate bad feelings.

Anyone wishing to dispute my actions are free to contact another moderator or the site admins.

There is no official registration system for copyright in the United Kingdom (UK) and most other parts of the world. There are no forms to fill in and no fees to pay to get copyright protection.

So long as you have created a work that qualifies for copyright protection, that is it falls into one of the categories of material protected by copyright, you will have copyright protection without having to do anything to establish this. It is a requirement of various international conventions on copyright that copyright should be automatic with no need to register.

To help protect your copyright work, it is advisable to mark it with the © symbol, the name of the copyright owner and the year of publication. Although this is not essential, it will let others know when the term of protection started and hence whether it is still covered by copyright, and indicate who to approach should they need to ask permission to use the work.

Almost, Steve.
The decision has long been accepted by this content creator, and although I have clearly stated that I will not be undertaking any further work to relaunch my work, I have received offers from within the community to do so on my behalf. I applaud and accept those offers.
That's what this community spirit is all about.... OK, occasionally we have to take a step back wards, but between those, we take enormous strides forward.... at the end of it all we THE COMMUNITY, pulling together will gain strength.
I pray that other creators who have been similarly inconvenienced by these recent events can somehow perhaps adopt a similar view, and lets put it behind us, and move forward, albeit a little wiser.

On that note, let us indeed move on.

On that basis, I will now request one of my fellow Moderators consider locking this thread.
