Going Underground

Post by coxy64 »

Hi Everyone

Just some pictures of what I'm upto at the moment.
I am editing the Underground Route called LineU1 available at Train-sim.com.

I am trying to modify the Route to make it a UK Underground Route based on the East London Line.
Myself and Dave Roles have repainted Richard Scott's excellant Silver Stock into East London Line Stock(Hope you approve Richard).

Dave has also created a Battery Loco for the use with Engineers Trains.
The next phase is to Resignal the Route with Signals on the left as opposed to there original German righthand side.
Thanks to I.K.B and Tim Court for their help with this.

Have a look at the pictures below and see what you think.
Regards
Gary............................

This is great. Finally, LUL route. If only Richard Scott could edit the R stock to delete the sides at the bottom. If you're not sure about the ELL, you could try the BVE version. It is very brilliantly done so I think you can get a lot of information from the BVE version.

Very nice to see an LT route coming along. I don't think I'll be changing the R Stock, by the way. But I wouldn't rule out more LT stuff in the future (and I mean next year probably!).

A tidy paint job by the way, even if not strictly accurate for the R stock. Funnily enough, someone else did this repaint as well and it does look quite nice.

Cheers

Richard Scott

Apart from the loco's and trains being ace, i only have one nag. That the purple hand rails in the top train are toned donw. They are far to bright, and look like a school kids flurecent pen :(

Apart from that though they are some dam good trains :)

The earth rail on the track looks a bit dodgy on them points,

other than that, looks brilliant.
