DCv5 Portsmouth-Southampton Activity

Hi All,

Has anyone downloaded the above Dorset Coast v5 Activity, if so perhaps you can help, I have met a problem with Rolling Stock (CL 377) being missing and not refered to in the Read Me (I've substituted similar Stock with Conbuilder). Secondly, I cannot get the Activity to run as an Activity, it loads as 'Explore mode' only (at Southampton).

Is this just me or have others found this? I have PM'd the Author, but he has not replied at time of Posting.

I am raising this here because as it will be a busy weekend (pre-Christmas) I hope to prevent any MSTS P/C problems for others.

For the other problem you've described, I've taken a look at the activity in Notepad and noted that compared to other activities, the following line was different:
Mode ( 2 )
was written as
Mode ( 0 )
which I believe serves as the Introductory Train Ride. Changing the line to Mode ( 2 ) enabled me to drive the activity.

Thanks for the reply, I did do a Search, but must have missed (there's so much on DC) the post you've given me, Thanks.

I had found Ali's 377, but I wasn't sure if that was the right one and didn't PM him as I had read he was experiencing some P/C Gremlins today.

I have altered the Mode to 2 and it now seems to run OK.

I have requested the Author to amend the Activity to help others.

Apologies all your right i set it up as introductory by mistake il release version 1.2 asap.

Ok released 1.2 dont know why those other errors are coming up the stock list is definitely right.

I think the 377 referenced by the activity is the one released as download, rather than the one on the CD which is why it could show as missing. I altered the consist to reference the CD version of the Class 377, which works ok (trainstore doesn't report it as missing anyway).

hello everyone, is anyone else on this activity getting the same problem as me? on mine the duration time is 00:00 and their are no times for station stops? am sorry if this is the way it is suppose to be! merry christmas everyone kind regards
