Hopefully someone can help me. I`m having problems with activity 10, Belfast to Dundalk passenger run on the Irish Enterprise route by making tracks. I follow the instructions via the messages that popup, I leave platform 4 & go onto the mainline & then stop when the reverse arrow disappears & I then wait until the late arrival pulls into platform 3 & reverse upto it when told to & I approach the train at about 2-3 mph, but as soon as I touch the carriage, the train moves further up the platform & derails. I know msts is a bit funny when it comes to coupling but i`ve tried using msts bin & it still happens. Is there some kind of trick to make it couple or do I just run light loco to Dundalk? I don`t have problems when coupling up the beer wagons in the last orders activity, so why am I having trouble coupling the ex gatwick stock?

Try nudging upto it at -0.5mph, so you just make gentle contact.

Re: MT Enterprise activity problems & the old coupling problem.
Sorry for a slow reply. I`ve tried both versions of msts bin that are available to download & it`s the same with both versions. I also have the same trouble with the scrap transfer activity, except when I try to couple the carriages in this activity, the carriages don`t move away because there isn`t a loco on the other end. Thanks RobertM, I tried the 0.5mph approach but I still can`t couple upto the coaches so it looks like i`ll have to edit the activity & change it so that the it starts with the 111 already coupled to the Gatwick stock.

Hi Rich,
Have you tried running your Rolling Stock through Mike Simpson's Route Riter Utility and in 'Misc Options' use 'Raise Bounding Box minimum', it worked for me when I was experiencing similar problems with Skipton.
Worth a try.

Have you tried downloading from TrainSim.com the package containing a generic wag file and the SD40 eng file which both have modified couplings for use with Bin with a totally working front coupler? If you cannot find them if you PM me with your email address I will send them to you.

Hi Rich.
There is a pathing problem on the Adelaide Scrap Transfer activity on Enterprise V1. There is a fixed version available on the MT website here. http://www.makingtracks-online.co.uk/in ... Itemid=169
I do not have Enterprise V1 installed at the moment ( I have V2
), can you give me the full name of the other act you are having problems with.
Cheers
Gordon

Still having problems, but i`ve got bigger & more important things than msts to worry about at the mo. Look at my first post for the activity that i`m having trouble with.
