Invisible Passengers

I have searched for this and found no answer so I thought I would ask:

Is it at all possible to see passengers onboard your loco in MSTS?

Only if they are placed there by the models author or added as a freight anim.

Hi again natty,

Passengers are already included in some passenger coaches (I think Thames Mersey has them in few coaches). I am not too sure about how they are provided, I assume by modifying the coach .wag file with an animation line, I'm sure someone will step in who knows more.

You can do it by adding this line into a .wag or .eng file and creating a shape to go with it (of the passengers).

Radius ( 1 )
Angle ( 0.5deg )
)
FreightAnim ( driver01.s 0.1 0.1 )
Adheasion ( 0.2 0.4 2 0 )
DerailRailHeight ( 4cm )
DerailRailForce ( 2.5*27t )
DerailBufferForce ( 400kN )
NumWheels ( 8 )

If you look at the 'Stickies' at the top of this forum, the last one on 'Crew Animations' gives you a tutorial on how to place crew in your locomotives.
