Is it possible to view traffic in "explore route" mode?

Is it possible to view traffic in "explore route" mode?

Post by natty »

I know this is a dumb question, but I'm new here and I thought this would be the best place to ask...

Yes and no

If you have trainstore, you can do a trainstore explore.
If you don't you cant

To do a Trainstore explore mode, open up TrainStore easy mode.

Right click the tab 'Explore the route' (above activity selection area) and select train as in normal MSTS. Then select an activity to use the traffic and path files from (you can change the path but i wouldn't reccomend it to be honest) Just below this select the tickbox to the left of where it says AI TRAFFIC

Now click EXPLORE

A trainstore explore creates an activity in the drive a train box. Select it and enjoy

Hi natty and welcome,

I take it that you mean 'AI traffic' you want to see and the answer is yes if you install Train Store. This gives you the ability to use AI traffic from a selection of activies for the 'selected' Route, but be warned the AI traffic does not always perform as original whilst used in Explore Route.

You can also show Loose Stock (Static consists), this also is selectable using TrainStore whilst using Explore Mode.

Hope that's what you are after.

Robert.

Edit: Beat me to it Richard, well done.

Thanks. That's what I'm after. I just have one question. How exactly does it work. Is it an addon to the MSTS interface, or a seperate utility?

Both really

Trainstore basically moves all files you dont need into its storage area and then starts msts.
