Does anyone know if Cambrian 2 overwrites the original route and, if so, will the original Cambrian activities still run?

The old route installed in a folder called Wales1 while the new one is called Cambrian 2, so nothing is overwritten. We've also made sure that there are no clashes with the rolling stock. In theory, therefore, you should be able to keep your old route installed. Whether you ever want to run it again after seeing the new version is another matter.

I would at a guess say towards the end of next week, don't forget even airmail takes 7-9 days from America and that's excluding weekends and UK mail strikes.
I used to work in Air Cargo and though mail takes priority over any ohter freight, it still has to go through security at the departing airport and again at Heathrow, then to Feltham to be sorted, then forwarded to your local sorting office, then to you via your friendly postman, so work out the days by that then add a couple of extra for unforseen cercumstances and you will get a rough idea.

Hi All
Well it's 11.00pm Sunday night down under in Perth - Western Australia so in around 10 hours I will be waiting for my friendly postmistress on her motorbike to see if she has my DVD
If she has I will let you all know as I would just love to get this Route before anyone in the UK gets it
Now if anyone does not know how far Perth is from the USA just get your Globe out and we couldn't be further away as we are exactly on the opposite side of the World to the USA - about 30 hours flying time from Chicago via Sydney (Australia) - Los Angeles and then onto Chicago - I know only too well as I made many trips there when I was working for a living
What a record this would be Martin
Regards
Mike

Oh my God, Nooooooooooooooo. Please buy it, please, please, please. I just don't know what I'll do now. The world must surely stop turning since hearing that news.rowan826 wrote:I won't be buying Cambrian 2 as I don't like the original.
I live in near Bangor, Gwynedd so I would rather see the North Wales Coast being done.
Oh, but on the other hand, do I (and everybody else) really give a rats arse what you will or won't be purchasing just because it doesn't cover the area you like.
Actually I think the view of a rats arse will be seen a lot from the front coach of many trains being run over this superb looking new route
