Hmmmm, that sounds interesting
I like the idea of the carer structure as well. I'm really looking forward to this route now.
The career idea is slightly less ambitious than trying to recreate the entire history of the route in activities, as on Highworth, but then the route is a bit longer.

slow and dirty hmmmm hmm wonder if its a reference to a certain line down somerset way .,now where did i put my bribe money
Many thanks for your reply and looking forward to running the Cambrian, the only time I went on it was in the 1980's when my wife and I stayed in a caravan site just outside Pwheli.
We went by train from Euston to Shrewsbury then changed on to I think a class 150 Sprinter, coming back the Sprinter went through to Birmingham.
I also went to Wales in the 1960's and toured all the narrow gauge lines that were open then, including the Vale of Rheidol.
I went by car that time, I had a 1966 Triumph Herald, Grey with a Red Stripe, It was an ex factory model, I new some one in the motor trade and they got it for me.
Funny thing strokes are, I can remember that ok but what happened last week I have trouble.
If the new route that's being proposed is the Slow & Dirty I will be interested in getting that one, It's always been one of my favourite routes, 9F's on passenger trains in the summer, with trains from Bournemouth to and from the Midlands.
I used to spend quite a few hours at Bournemouth West train spotting in those days as my grandparents lived at Kinson. I used to get the No 13 or 24 Hants & Dorset bus, as from Moordown it was limited stop, so was quicker than the No 3 Bournemouth Corperation bus.
Would this be an S&D route for MSTS, or a southern extension to the forthcoming KRS S&D route? I ask because the latter would be an obvious early (group?) project for freeware route developers.
If this is to be the somerset and dorset route, with maybe the branches as well would it be possible as to include somewhere on route , a certain midnight blue bentley and a lone figure at the lineside as well
