Hi i'am thinking of getting this cd you can help by giving me reviews screenshots or even maps two things i really want to know is where the route goes and how good is the route

Yorkshire Coast is excellent, not 100% accurate but exccellent all the same, especially if you tweak your .eng files so that they realistically climb up through beck hole bank into Goathland.

100% accuracy is not posssible with MSTS of course. The turntables do not work and it is not possible to include all the scenery one would like to do.
The YCR is based on 25 inch maps from the early 1900's and all the trackwork, signalling, mileposts etc is as exact as humanly possible! Sorry if it isn't 100%, I thought it was pretty close to being that!
Many (not all) of the buildings, bridges etc. are built to the exact scale and textured using photographs of the actual or similar structures.
Obviously over time, much of the depicted route has been dismantled or modernised so will be different to its present day incarnation but what is there is as close to early 20th century reality as MSTS allows as regards the rail layout. The amount of scenery present was dependant on what room was left after the railway items had been installed.

Sorry my post wasn't meant as a critisism I was just saying it isn't 100% accurate and by that I meant things like Newtondale Halt which I know you added in as an 'as if' Sorry my post got taken the wrong way

Just a quick question; is the YCR CD a more advanced version that what is availiable for download? I know some authors add things to the CD version but leave the downloadable version alone, is this the case with YCR or not?
