MSTS v1.2 Dorset Coast Downloads

Post by CliveA »

Morning all!

I am interested in downloading the Dorset Coast Route.

There's so much of it! Can anybody help with a list of downloads in the correct order, as this looks like a quality download.

I'm particularly interested in Alton - Waterloo

Thanks

I think it would be best to buy the CD of Dorset Coast v.3, which includes stock and activities, and then download the patch v.4 which includes the route to Alton from Waterloo. If you buy the CD, you also get 1 month's premium membership which allows downloads somewhere near 400kb/s.

If you are looking for a Class 458, 450, or 444 to run the route, the only available stock of such on the disc is 442, 450, 423, 421, and 455.
E-rail are producing a 458 as well as a 444 for their South West lines route, and Making Tracks are producing two 450s, and a 444 for their desiro stock pack.

There, I hope that's the best answer for you.

Also - the disk costs £1.50 when you do it that way. As it costs £3 per month for the premien membership but the disk costs £4.50 with - so £1.50 for a disk, which includes postage and no missing files is worth it :)
