Mid-East Plus?

Post by kstokes »

I was just wondering if anyone can give a guesstimate as to when this route will be released and weather it might be worth getting the current version just as a stop gap till Plus comes out.

Also is there a route map for Plus as I would love to see if any of the places where I use to live when a kid are included.

Try searching the forums for the route map, I remember seeing one especially if you search for chris's posts(chrisiverson).

A comment the other day suggested late summer so still plenty of time to enjoy the original route. The one that got me into MSTS when it was published.

I beleve that these are all included. As for timeframe depends on how much Mick wants to do before releasing it.

Mid East Plus is a stand alone route and dousen't add onto the original Mid East. So you could get the current Mid East CD now and then get the Mid East Plus CD when it's released.

Thanks for the link ghills. It has served to convince me to get the current version this week and the Plus version when it is released.

So LNERandBR what you are saying is that the current Mid East and Mid East Plus will install as 2 seperate routes and thus both can be present in TS with no problems? ie no having to uninstall Mid East before installing Plus.

That's Exactley it.

Mid East Plus will install to it's own folder in the route directory and therefore won't require the older version of Mid East to be uninstalled first.

Activities from the original Mid East will not run on Plus due to major track layout changes as Plus uses X tracks and therefore is more prototypical then the original Mid East.
