down load route file packageing

Post by michaelhendle »

I realy like the way the last 3 routes to be up loaded are packaged, they seem a lot easier to instal than the old way, and I'm realy impressed with the Looe Branch as it comes with some stock and activities.

For modern image the Cardiff - Bristol Route is realy good and there seems to be more scenary on the Seven Beach Branch than the original Newport - Bristol.

As I used to holiday in Devon and Cornwall in the late 50s early 60's so I can say the Withered Arm is a great steam route. I can even remember T9's at Padstow, and Western Region Pannier and Prarie tanks Between Padstow and Bodmin.

I always looked forward to seeing the through expresses to see what type of WC was hauling it, most were 72A sheded at Exmouth Junction.

For modern Southern then there is the marvelous Dorset Coast CD,my next to buy will be the Thames Mersey dvd,but that will have to wait until I feel better after my stroke as playing long routes seems to make get tired easily.

To much time in front of the computer.

Mike, try a comfy armchair with your mouse and keyboard on either arm, worked a treat for me when I was very unwell. I'm a bit better now and space constraints have sent me back to my computer chair. Still find MSTS quite tiring at times, although when I'm housebound, it's one of the things that keeps me sane.

And you're not wrong about the last couple of routes and their packaging, a real newbie proof joy to install.
