Hi Nick. It needn't take forever. Think about buying a UKTS CD, to get premium download. I just did and you've got to believe it my premium membership was there as soon as I left the order page.
So within 22mins I had downloaded and installed all thirteen parts of "Skipton to Carlisle" and "Steyning Line" is on the way.
How's that for unbeatable value.

Hi there,

It is so good to see this route is available again. It was the second CD I purchased from UKTS and it is one of my favourite routes. It really set the standard at the time and has a superb trainset. A credit to it's builders and even more so, as it is as originally made.

Well done Matt for renegotiating its release :drinking:

I think I shall definitely get this one - but I'll wait until the start of next term when I'll be reunited with 10MB broadband (and will have done some shopping on UKTS) - even with premium, I wouldn't do big routes on a 48kb internet connection.

After the many times I have plugged this route on various forums, it is great to see such a revival of interest. I still believe that Pat's route is a model of how all routes ought to be published, for its complete back up of history, track plans, activity descriptions etc.

Hi all, It's great to see this back again and if it is as good as the CD,great. What makes it even better and as done for quiet awhile is the BIN patch which got rid of the dreaded White out. Looking forward to the LMS Stock CD,all them engines and wagons :D :D :D

Thanks a lot Ian, problem solved.

Another question, are your wagon packs now available for download already in the route or should they be added?

You need to download the wagons.

Also download the modified activities to use them.

You will need to keep the original wagons to run other downloaded activities unless you want to swop the stock in Route Riter or Activity Analyser.

Hi All,
Please, forgive my ignorance.

I have the original 1920s route up and running no problems. I keep returning to it.

Now for the ignorance!

If/when/hopefully new activities are writen for the download route, Will the original stock work with them? They will no doubt be writen using the replacement stock.

Is there any thing to be gained by downloading the new stock and updated activities and replacing the stock and activities in my existing instalation of the route?

As I have the CD I shouldn't have any trouble if it went wrong.

I think I have made my self clear.

Thanks.

GOOD LUCK

Doug
