Great Eastern freights

Post by 31466 »

I recently bought the wonderful Great Eastern but I want to run a freightliner and a nuclear flask train from Ipswich to Stratford. Does anyone know what line these trains take south of Shenfield, the fast or the slow? Also do these trains ever stop in any of the loops north of Shenfield or not?

Freightliners, usually run on the fast lines slotted in between fast services, but can be looped at anytime.

Nuclear Flask traffic between Willesden Brent and Sizewell. The Wills to Size is usually booked to run the GE in the early hours of the morning and the return is booked late afternoon early evening, so i guess they could run on the fastlines also but again, could be looped at anytime.

Have a search for the Headcodes on Fotopic etc for pics, and you might be able to pic out what lines they are running on

Thanks for the replies, I will now drive the freights on the fast and avoid being held up by the local trains!
